The owners of Bishopscourt Whitehouse have a keen eye for design and the home has been beautifully decorated using rich colours and fabrics that align perfectly with the green mountain backdrop.
Enter the property through a grand entrance hall which takes you into the expansive living room, with the kitchen to the right and the large games room/gym to the left. The entire ground floor opens onto the garden with a mountain view beyond. The kitchen has a breakfast bar, a soft seating area, and a large dining table with retractable doors onto the terrace to enjoy the great outdoors. There is also a scullery/chef's kitchen area behind the kitchen, as well as a laundry room. On the other side of the central lounge is a games room with a TV, snooker table, various games, a drum kit, and so on, as well as a well-kitted-out gym.
Upstairs are the four main bedrooms of the house, all en-suite. The Master Suite has an adjoining study, and a large bathroom with double basins, a bath, and an oversized shower. The balcony door opens out to overlook the garden. There are two further double bedrooms, one opening out onto the garden and one opening out onto the back of the house (overlooking the home entrance). The fourth bedroom is a very unique flatlet that could be found in Paris! It lies over two stories with a living room and kitchen on the one floor (and balcony doors overlooking the garden) and then a staircase up to the bedroom and bathroom.
Further to the four bedrooms is a separate apartment located above the garage (which can be accessed through the house, from the kitchen scullery). The apartment has been beautifully developed with a living room, spacious bedroom, and bathroom as well as a kitchen area and dining table.
