About the role
Cape Town Luxury Escapes is hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist to help grow high-quality enquiries for our luxury travel business. This role is for someone who understands performance marketing, but also has the judgement to protect a premium brand.
You will work across paid media, campaign planning, landing pages, reporting, and content opportunities. The right person is commercially sharp, detail-oriented, and able to explain what is working, what needs attention, and what should happen next.
The essentials
- Location: Cape Town-based, with regular in-office collaboration.
- Type: Full-time, permanent.
- Focus: Performance marketing, lead quality, campaign optimisation, landing pages, reporting, and growth experiments.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, launch, monitor, and improve campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and relevant digital channels.
- Improve campaign structure, audience quality, creative testing, landing-page alignment, and budget discipline.
- Review performance data and turn it into clear, practical recommendations.
- Work with the team to promote luxury villas, destination-led campaigns, and high-value travel experiences.
- Help improve landing pages, campaign messaging, and content briefs where needed.
- Prepare simple, honest reports that explain what changed and what should happen next.
Requirements and qualifications
Must have
- Strong working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta campaigns.
- Experience with analytics, tag management, conversion tracking, and campaign reporting.
- Ability to read campaign data critically and separate useful signal from platform noise.
- Good copy judgement and an eye for landing-page quality.
- Strong attention to detail around budgets, settings, tracking, and reporting.
- Confidence explaining marketing performance clearly to people outside marketing.
Nice to have
- Experience in luxury travel, hospitality, real estate, villas, tourism, or high-value lead generation.
- Experience with Looker Studio, Google Ads Editor, SEO content, or marketing automation.
- Comfort working with developers or content teams to improve tracking, pages, and campaign assets.
