This characteristic villa is a fantastic holiday house for a large family or group. The Tuscan-style villa boasts a large outdoor deck with sensational panoramic ocean and mountain views. An attractive feature is the immense infinity sized heated pool with jet streams and sauna. There is a backup generator which supplies the entire property with power.

The villa is located in the tranquil Camps Bay with only a 5 min drive/Uber to Camps Bay beach & vibey promenade with many great restaurants.

The generously proportioned villa has an elevator servicing the 3 floors, the lounge has a gas fireplace. Bathroom in Master bedroom and bathrooms in the 2 ground floor rooms feature underfloor heating.

The villa is reasonably child friendly, providing one large baby cot and two highchairs plus a small selection of toys.

Guests have full access to the entire Villa.

I am the Airbnb Host and we also have a Villa Manager, Michiel, who is responsible for the operation of the house. Myself and Michiel live close by and will be available to assist you during your stay.

Upon arrival at the house you will be welcomed by a representative who will show you around. I can assist with any villa requirements such as private chef onsite, pre-arrival shopping, restaurant recommendations and reservations, tours, activities & transport, personal trainer, hairdresser and nail technician. I speak fluent English, Dutch, Flemish and French. Once your Airbnb booking is confirmed, I can coordinate with you directly via email to create the perfect itinerary for your holiday.

Please note that a late check in fee will apply for late check-ins, payable to the property manager.

I’m half Irish, half Dutch, I speak fluent English, Dutch, Flemish & French. I also run a Tour business hence I’m well equipped to assist with any tours or activities you may need. Once your Airbnb booking is confirmed, I can coordinate with you directly via email to create a lovely itinerary for your holiday. Local Property Manager will check you in and be your contact during your stay. Please note there is a R1000 late check in fee for check-ins after 8pm, payable to the property manager.

The property is a 5-minute drive from Camps Bay promenade and the sweeping beach for strolling and surfing. Camps Bay and Clifton is one of the most prestigious areas in Cape Town

There is public transport 1 minute's walk or taxi's on Camps Bay promenade only 5 min away or Uber usually 2 min away. UBER IS SAFE & RELIABLE in Cape Town. I can also book a chauffeur drive service for you, I have suppliers I work with that have nice 14 seater Toyota Quantums available for full days with dinner transfers.

Refundable Breakage Deposit:

We will also require a refundable breakage deposit of R20 000 to be paid prior to check-in/upon check-in. This will be refunded on the day of check-out if no damages are found. If damages are found the relevant charges will be applied.

Loadshedding:

The national electricity supply grid in South Africa is currently under strain and, at times, the electricity provider, Eskom, cannot provide sufficient electricity to meet everyone’s needs. In order to manage electricity demand, Eskom imposes power outages, “Load Shedding”, at scheduled time slots (usually 2 hours at a time) in the different areas (zones) of Cape Town, and indeed throughout the whole of South Africa.

Please note, the villa is equipped with a diesel generator, which suppliers power for the entire house. Therefore, during load shedding you still have full access to all the amenities. During load shedding, we request that guests be mindful of the appliances used as excessive usage may result in a shortage of diesel and may thus incur a fee.

Whilst the generator is adequate to provide comprehensive cover, we advise guests to download the load shedding app “Load Shedding Notifier” before arrival. The app is also useful for planning your evening’s entertainment throughout the city, by actively avoiding areas that are experiencing load shedding. We would also recommend that guest manage their energy use efficiently during load shedding times to ensure they don’t run out of power.

Housekeeping Service:

The Villa includes Housekeeping service (6 days a week) & full time Butler service (7 days a week).

Additional Rules

• Overnight occupation is strictly according to the number of persons on the reservation contract. No loud noise or parties are permitted.
• We understand that accidents happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do so we can fix them more efficiently, limiting any costs incurred.
• Parties: Parties are strictly forbidden. Should you wish to request approval to host a lunch or dinner during your stay, we will require you to agree to our terms and conditions. No DJs allowed but any background music will need to be turned down at 10 pm.
• Please do not leave children unattended. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when using the swimming pool area. The owners do not accept liability for any incident related to the swimming pool as this area is not childproof.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited on the property. Failure to comply may result in charges being incurred by the tenant.

Chef Service:

This can be arranged for breakfast, lunch and dinner (pre booking is required). Complimentary drinking water, tea & coffee, snacks available on arrival.

Laundry & Dry Cleaning

There are 2 washing machines and 1 tumble dryer in the villa. Laundry is done by the housekeeper on a daily basis. Linen and towels are changed every 3 to 4 days.

For each second day of your stay, one load of washing is included and will also be ironed. For any additional washes undertaken by our housekeeper, an additional cost of R100/load will apply which includes ironing. This is to be paid to the Housekeeper or House Manager at check-out. We also offer laundry service, this is only R15 per kg or R150 for 10Kg. Our Housekeeper is happy to coordinate the pick-up and drop of with our supplier who provides the laundry service

Staff

There are two staff members, housekeeper and a butler who lives on site in a flat with a separate entrance at your convenience, ensuring guest privacy. Michiel, the House Manager, will be available to meet and greet you at your arrival. Both Michiel and the two staff members knows the house best and will be assisting you throughout your stay. Michiel can help assist you with a private chef (breakfast, lunch or dinner) – pre booking is required.

Tours & Transport

Lavinia, the rental agent is running her own tour business, she can help assist you with tailor made tours, chauffeur drive and massage and even grocery shopping (before your arrival) and any other services possible to make your stay as memorable as we can, at an additional cost.

Massage At The Villa

Enjoy a relaxing massage at the villa during your stay, no need to visit a SPA. We have a professional massage therapist who is specializes in different massages to help relax the mind and body. Her contact details will be shared after the booking is confirmed.

Pre-Shopping At Arrival

Kindly note we have a lady who can pre-shop groceries or alcohol on your behalf prior to your arrival. Her fee is from R500. Contact details will be shared after confirmation.
