This is a dedicated year-round self-catering vacation rental property that is exclusively and professionally managed. The offices for the property manager are based in Camps Bay. This property has been meticulously vetted prior to onboarding and comes with a dedicated 24/7 guest-support team, housekeeping services on request, and hotel-grade amenities. The property manager prides themselves on offering the highest level of service to ensure you have a memorable stay.

The manager for this property is delighted to inform you that this property is protected by Truvi. Once your booking is confirmed, you will be contacted by Truvi directly (via email or text message) to verify yourself and finalise the process. The process will require you to choose between an upfront refundable damage deposit or a non-refundable payment towards your damage waiver to complete your verification process. These will be an additional charge over and above the accommodation booked. The property manager reserves the right to charge an extra damage deposit amount on any booking and/or to cancel a booking should the guest refuse to complete the verification process.

Simply purchase a MyConnect card and load it with credit at any MyCiTi station or selected retailer.

For added flexibility, ride-hailing services such as Uber are widely available throughout Cape Town and are often one of the quickest and easiest ways to travel. You can also make use of private chauffeur services, guided tour transfers, car rentals, or even explore certain areas by vintage motorbike sidecar. Electricity:

South Africa has been experiencing periods of load shedding (unscheduled electricity disruptions) in the last few years. This means that electricity goes off for periods of two and a half hours or more at a time. We often do not know in advance when this will happen. Most of our owners, however, have taken a number of measures to ensure your greatest comfort during your stay. There is an app you can download to ensure you know what times it will take place and plan your day accordingly. Please search your app store for the following app: Esp – The Loadshedding App. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. This is, unfortunately, something that is out of our hands and governed by the South African electricity providers. Accordingly, neither the property manager nor the owner shall be liable for any refunds, compensation, or discounts as a result of services being unavailable due to load shedding.

Noise Control:

This property is situated in a quiet residential area and we need to adhere to strict noise control measures implemented by the body corporate and the city council for this area. By continuing with this booking, you agree that you understand and accept the following conditions:

• No parties of any kind are to be held at the property.
• No noise or music of any nature (audible to neighbours) is allowed between 9 pm and 7 am during the week and between 10 pm and 7 am on weekends.
• No hooting or shouting in the street at any time.
• Should you have a guest or two visiting, please make them aware that parking is very limited and they must not park in front of another person's garage or driveway.

Travel Insurance:

It is imperative that you have procured adequate and fully comprehensive travel insurance, including cancellation cover and cover for the theft of personal items.

Groups:

No groups of all-solo travellers are permitted unless by request. No bachelor or bachelorette party groups are permitted.

Children:

Although we accept children at this property, there may still be child-safety issues and concerns for guests with younger children, such as balconies, split-level terraces, and unfenced pools. Guests staying with children do so at their own risk and are urged to take all due care and attention during their stay.

Monthly Stays:

Please note that for monthly discounts, electricity will be for your own account.

• No daily housekeeping will be included within the rate, but it can be paid for additionally on request and when available. The property manager requires housekeeping to happen at least once a week for every week of your stay.
• Standard amenities, such as Wi-Fi and DStv if applicable, will be included.
• Reasonable water usage is included; this will be monitored according to current city limits.
