The City of Cape Town experiences daily electricity outages (commonly known as Load Shedding). These outages are expected to last for roughly 2.5 hours each time. This is unfortunately something that is out of our hands and governed by the South African Electricity providers, however we have taken a number of measures to ensure minimum impact during your stay. The property has an inverter that powers selected items during load shedding. Items not loaded on the inverter: cinema, gym, extractor fans, pool lights, pond lights, oven, underfloor heater, fridge, and plug point for the kettle.
