Space

Designed as a convenient lock-up-and-go holiday apartment, the space features a bright and welcoming living area that opens onto a private balcony where guests can enjoy morning coffee or unwind while taking in the ocean scenery. The fully-fitted kitchen provides everything needed for a comfortable stay, while both bedrooms offer cosy accommodation ideal for couples, friends, or small families exploring Cape Town.

Bantry Bay is renowned for its scenic beauty, peaceful surroundings, and central location. Situated between Clifton and Sea Point, guests are just minutes from the famous Clifton beaches, the vibrant Sea Point Promenade, trendy cafés, local restaurants, and boutique shopping. Cape Town's city centre, V&a Waterfront, and many of the region's top attractions are all within easy reach.

The unit is located on the third floor and the building does not have a lift.

Strictly no smoking, including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, hookah pipes, cannabis, or vaping devices. A severe fine will be levied for any transgressions.

This is a dedicated year-round self-catering holiday rental property that is exclusively and professionally managed. The offices for the property manager are based in Camps Bay. This property has been meticulously vetted prior to onboarding, comes with a dedicated 24/7 guest support team, housekeeping services on request, and hotel-grade amenities. The property manager prides themselves on offering the highest level of service to ensure you have a memorable stay.

The manager for this property is delighted to inform you that this property is protected by Truvi. Once your booking is confirmed, you will be contacted by Truvi directly (via email or text message) to verify yourself and finalise the process. The process will require you to choose between an upfront refundable damage deposit or a non-refundable payment towards your damage waiver to complete your verification process. These will be an additional charge over and above the accommodation booked. The property manager reserves the right to charge an extra damage deposit amount on any booking and/or to cancel a booking should the guest refuse to complete the verification process.

Please note you will be required to complete a separate guest registration form and unique guest verification link (from Truvi) prior to arrival in order for us to facilitate your check-in.

Electricity:

South Africa has been experiencing periods of load-shedding (unscheduled electricity disruptions) in the last few years. This means that electricity goes off for periods of two and a half hours or more at a time. We often do not know in advance when this will happen. Most of our owners, however, have taken a number of measures to ensure your greatest comfort during your stay. There is an app you can download to ensure you know what times it will take place and plan your day accordingly. Please search your app store for the following app: Esp – The Loadshedding App. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. This is, unfortunately, something that is out of our hands and governed by the South African electricity providers. Accordingly, neither the property manager nor the owner shall be liable for any refunds, compensation, or discounts as a result of services being unavailable due to load-shedding.

Noise Control:

This property is situated in a quiet residential area and we need to adhere to strict noise control measures implemented by the body corporate and/or city council for this area. Therefore, by continuing with this booking, you agree that you understand and accept the following conditions:

  • No parties of any kind are to be held at the property.
  • No noise or music of any nature (heard by neighbours) is allowed between 9 pm and 7 am during the week and between 10 pm and 7 am on weekends.
  • No hooting or shouting in the street at any time (day and night).
  • Should you have a guest or two visiting, please make them aware that parking is very limited and not to park in front of another person's garage or driveway.

Travel Insurance:

It is imperative that you have procured adequate and fully comprehensive travel insurance, including cancellation cover and cover for theft of personal items.

Groups:

No groups of all solo travellers unless by request. No bachelor or bachelorette party groups are permitted.

Children:

Although we accept children at this property, there may still be child safety issues and concerns for guests with younger children, such as balconies, split-level terraces, and unfenced pools. Guests staying with children do so at their own risk and are urged to take all due care and attention during their stay.

Monthly Stays:

Please note on monthly discounts, electricity will be for your own account.

  • No daily housekeeping will be included within the rate but can be paid for additionally on request and when available. The property manager requires housekeeping to happen at least once a week, every week of your stay.
  • Standard amenities, such as Wi-Fi and Dstv if applicable, will be included.
  • Reasonable water usage is included; this will be monitored according to current city limits.
